The Zodiac sign symbols (glyphs)

In 1991, I made ink calligraphes of the twelve Zodiac signs and other astrological symbols (glyphs) for an astrology book. It was an experiment, combining Western astrology with Japanese shodo style brush calligraphy, which is something I have tried from time to time.

       I admit that I was quite pleased with the result. The bold strokes of the brush with its black ink brought some excitement to the pages of the book.

       When the internet era commenced, these images found their way around the web — way beyond the astrological web pages where I posted them. Much to my surprise. I've seen them not only on astrology sites, but also used as company logos, CD covers, tattoos, and what not. It's fun.

       Here they are, the twelve Zodiac sign symbols in shodo calligraphy style.
